Young leaves and stems are sparsely covered with wooly or silky hairs. The flowers give way to attractive fluffy reddish-brown seed heads. Maryland Golden Aster adds texture and color in the late summer garden. it makes good cut flowers too!
- Grows up to 24-30 in. tall (60-75 cm) and 12-24 in. wide (30-60 cm). Plants readily reseed in the garden.
