Coreopsis ‘Limerock Ruby’ (Tickseed)

Extraordinarily floriferous, Coreopsis ‘Limerock Ruby’ is a rhizomatous perennial forming a dense, bushy clump of neat, ferny foliage. From early summer through early fall, it produces masses of 1.5 in. large (4 cm), ruby red, daisy-like flowers adorned with a bright golden center. Borne atop slender self-supporting stems, the blossoms rise well above the airy foliage. Tolerant of heat, humidity and some drought, this Tickseed is perfect to create a stunning floral display in the garden. Exceptional for containers or edging.

• Grows up to 12-18 in. in height (30-45cm) and 12-24 in. across (30-60 cm).
• Prefers full sun and enjoys dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils. Thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils and is drought and deer tolerant.
