Milk and Wine Lily, Swamp Lily, Stars and Stripes Lily
Particularly fascinating and reliable, Crinum ‘Stars and Stripes’ is an elegant bulbous perennial boasting up to 10 large, delightfully fragrant, trumpet-shaped, white flowers, 5-6 in. long (12-15 cm), adorned with fiery red stripes down each petal. Blooming in succession from mid to late summer, the eye-catching blossoms rise well above the foliage clump of narrow pleated, glossy green leaves. This Crinum often reblooms in mid to late fall. Evergreen in mild climates, the foliage will die back in freezing temperatures. One of the finest of all late summer bulbs, this long-lived Lily is charming both in bud and in flower. It will increase in size and magnificence year after year.
