Echeveria pulidonis

Pulido's Echeveria

Slow-growing, Echeveria pulidonis is an evergreen succulent with stemless rosettes, 4-5 in. wide (10-12 cm), packed with over 25 fleshy, plump, slightly cupped, pale silvery-green leaves adorned with red edges and a delicate red tip. In spring, this Echeveria displays bright yellow flowers on reddish, arching stems. It offsets readily and will form a good-sized clump over time. A great choice for containers.

  • Winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society
  • Grows up to 8 in. tall (20 cm) and 6-8 in. wide (15-20 cm).
  • Easily grown in sandy, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in sun or partial shade. The best color is obtained in full sun. Water occasionally.
  • Perfect for containers where spectacular floral arrangements can be created.
  • Deer resistant
  • Virtually disease free. Watch for mealybugs, vine weevil, and aphids
  • Propagate by stem or leaf cuttings in spring or early summer. Separate offsets in spring
  • Mostly native to Mexico
