Perfect for brightening a shady corner of the garden, Euphorbia cornigera (Horned Spurge) is a very showy, clump-forming perennial which enjoys weeks of bright yellow-green flowers. Held in small clusters, they appear in late spring and last until late summer. They are borne on upright, reddish stems clad with lance-shaped, dark green leaves with interesting paler midribs.

  • Typically grows up to 30 in. tall and wide (75 cm).
  • Winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society for its noteworthy qualities.
  • Remaining attractive during all its growing season, this remarkable plant is resilient to most pests and diseases, is deer & rabbit tolerant, and is easy to care for.
  • Full sun to part shade lover, it thrives in moist, well-drained soils
  • Perfect for beds and borders, city gardens, coastal gardenscottage gardens, or rock gardens.
  • Cut back flowering shoots to ground level in late summer or fall.
  • Propagate by seed sown in pots in a cold frame either when ripe or in spring. Propagate by division in early spring
  • All parts are highly toxic by ingestion.
