Crabapple 'Guinevere', Crab Apple 'Guinevere', Malus ‘Guinzam’
A lovely dwarf crabapple providing year-round presence, Malus ‘Guinevere’ is a small deciduous tree of rounded form that is perfect for gardens with limited space. Opening from deep carmine buds, masses of fragrant white blossoms tinted mauve appear in mid-spring, before the leaves. Both colors show at the same time, creating a pretty two-tone effect. The flowers are followed by brilliant red fruits that persist for months. Emerging dark green in spring, the lustrous leaves are blushed with burgundy and turn glorious orange shades in the fall. The small stature of this elegant crabapple makes it a perfect ornamental choice for small gardens.
