Petunia ‘Easy Wave Red Velour’ is a mound forming, spreading annual or perennial boasting masses of velvety deep red flowers from late spring to the first frosts. Fast-growing and blooming all season freely, this Petunia is dense and full, making it perfect for covering a large garden area quickly or gracefully cascading from baskets and containers. Heat tolerant, it attracts hummingbirds and is terrific for creating a dazzling display through the summer.

  • Grows up to 6-12 in. tall (15-30 cm) and 30-40 in. wide (75-100 cm).
  • Extremely easy to grow, Petunias thrive in full sun to part shade in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil.
  • Petunias are perennials in hardiness zone 11 but treated as annuals in cooler areas.
  • Deadhead as required to remove dead flowers. Although this Petunia does not require cutting back, an occasional trim will help to rejuvenate the plant if needed.
  • Keep an eye out for aphids, slugs, snails, gray molds, or foot rot.
  • Propagate by seed.
