A very slow grower, 3-6 in. per year (7-15 cm), this lovely Austrian Pine is an excellent choice for small gardens and containers. Salt-tolerant, it is also an excellent choice for coastal gardens.
- Grows up to 8 ft. tall and wide (240 cm).
- Performs best in full sun in moist, well-drained soils. Tolerates clay soils, urban pollution, salt and drought once established. Thrives better than other pines in chalky soils.
- Perfect for coastal gardens, cottage gardens, hedges, windbreaks.
- Watch for aphids, adelgids, sawflies and pine shoot moth. Easy to grow, easy to care for and rarely browsed by deer.
