Blooming its heart out, Rosa Sunny Knock Out® is a compact shrub rose that produces abundant clusters of fragrant, single, bright yellow flowers, up to 3 in. across (7 cm), that fade quickly to a pastel cream color. The blossoms stand out against the disease-resistant, dark green, semi-glossy foliage. Blooming continuously from spring until frost, the flowers are followed by decorative orange-red hips. Easy to grow, low maintenance, drought tolerant, and self-cleaning, this popular shrub rose is an exceptional choice for the landscape and suits every garden and lifestyle.

Rosa Sunny Knock Out® belongs to the Knock Out® shrub roses, which are known for their compact size, long bloom season, bright colors, profuse flowering, exceptional resistance to black spot, and winter hardiness.

  • Grows in a rounded, bushy and well-behaved shrub, up to 3-4 ft. tall and wide (90-120 cm).
  • Best grown in full sun or partial sun, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils. This rose is noted for its ability to bloom in as little as 3 hours per day of direct sun with excellent disease resistance.
  • An excellent choice for beds, borders where it can be planted among shrubs, annuals and perennials. May be planted in large groups to create a colorful hedge or along a foundation to provide a bright border.
  • Total blackspot resistance makes this shrub a truly disease-free landscape rose.
  • This shrub rose does not require special care. However, for best performance, cut back every year in early spring after the last threat of frost has passed.
