A bright and romantic hedge for this lovely terrace. Created by Westover Landscape Design, only 2 ingredients were used to achieve this peaceful decor. The white Limelight Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata) and the brightly variegated foliage of the Japanese Forest Grass (Hakonechloa macra). They both provide a very distinctive contrast with the bluestone paving of the patio. They also offer a wonderful glow in the evening, thanks to their light reflection, creating an enchanting evening walkway. The lattice fence allows plenty of light to flow through while creating privacy.

All plants are recipients of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society. Enjoy!

One of the most superb ornamental grasses, Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola’ (Hakone Grass) is a very beautiful golden variegated grass. Its foliage forms attractive mounds of gracefully arching, shiny leaves that ripple in the slightest breeze.

Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight'

Incredibly popular, Hydrangea paniculata ‘Limelight’ is a robust, upright, and spreading deciduous shrub boasting huge, luxuriant conical flowers, up to 6-12 in. long (15-30 cm). Held upright on sturdy stems, they are well distributed, making a very attractive plant and display.
