Forming a basal rosette of narrow, toothed, bright green leaves, Campanula persicifolia ‘Alba’ (Peach-Leaved Bellflower) sends up sturdy stems clad with narrow, pointed leaves that are reminiscent of those of the peach tree, hence its common name. In early to mid-summer, they bear large, nodding, bell-shaped, pure white flowers which add grace to the garden. Charming and eye-catching, they will persist longer if deadheaded.
