Delphinium grandiflorum 'Summer Nights' is a low-growing, short-lived perennial with loose sprays of single, spurred, satiny midnight blue flowers. Blooming for weeks from early to late summer, this dwarf Delphinium forms a compact, bushy mound of well-branched, lacy green leaves. 'Summer Nights' belongs to the 'Summer' Series, which is renowned for the profuse branching and dwarf size of its hybrids. They also bloom earlier and have better heat tolerance than other Delphiniums of this type. A perfect plant for edging, containers, or as a bedding plant.
