A fruitless crabapple, Malus 'Spring Snow' is an upright, broad-rounded deciduous tree with a profusion of fragrant, pure white flowers in mid spring. Draped in clusters along the branches, they are truly a sight to behold. Equally attractive, the dense foliage of bright green, shiny leaves, turns golden-yellow in the fall. A splendid flowering tree for urban landscapes.
- Grows up to 20-25 ft. tall (6-7 m) and 15-20 ft. wide (4-6 m).
- A full sun lover, this tree is easily grown in moderately fertile, well-drained soils. Once established, it is drought tolerant.
- Perfect as specimen plant, in city gardens or cottage gardens.
- Require only minimal pruning in late winter, to remove damaged, diseased or misplaced growth.
