Rosa California Dreamin’ is a ravishing Hybrid Tea rose boasting large, high-centered, creamy-white flowers, 5 in. across (12 cm), packed with 28-35 petals adorned with pink edges. Borne mostly solitary, the blossoms have a strong citrus fragrance and bloom in flushes from spring to early fall. The perfectly shaped flowers stand out against the lush foliage of dark green, semi-glossy leaves. A handsome shrub rose that is very disease resistant, thrives in many climates, but it does particularly well in dry, California temperatures. Perfect for beds, borders or containers. A great rose for cutting too.

  • Grows up to 3-4 ft. tall (90-120 cm) and 2-3 ft. wide (60-90 cm).
  • An excellent choice for beds and borders, flowering hedges, or containers. Stunning when mass-planted. Excellent cut flowers.
  • Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils.
  • Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer.
  • Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you’ll probably find you’ll have to prune a little more than that
  • Bred by Jacques Mouchotte (France, 2007).
