Rosa Ketchup & Mustard (Floribunda Rose)

Rose Ketchup & Mustard, Rosa 'Wekzazette', Shrub Roses, Floribunda Roses

Rosa Ketchup & Mustard is a lovely variety of floribunda rose with small clusters of very double, high-centered to cupped, ruby-red flowers, 3 in. across (8 cm), adorned with mustard yellow reverses and packed with up to 28 petals. Blooming profusely in flushes from late spring into fall, the festive blooms emit a mild, apple, tea fragrance. Borne on almost thornless stems, they stand out against the foliage of glossy, light green leaves. Compact and bushy, this upright and well-branched shrub is terrific for beds and borders or containers.

  • Grows up to 4-5 ft. tall (120-150 cm) and 3-4 ft. wide (90-120 cm).
  • Best grown in full sun in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils. For best flowering apply a balanced fertilizer and mulch in late winter or early spring and a balanced fertilizer again in early summer.
  • Bred by Christian Bédard (United States, before 2008).
