Begonia solananthera (Brazilian Heart Begonia)
Brazilian Heart Begonia
Noted for its winter blooms and sweet fragrance, Begonia solananthera (Brazilian Heart Begonia) is a scandent (climbing) species found in Brazil in 1859. It sports heart-shaped, glossy green, evergreen leaves, about 2 in. long (5 cm), and delightfully scented clusters of pearly white flowers, which dangle from the leaf axils.
