Noted for its heat tolerance, Erigeron glaucus ‘Wayne Roderick’ (Seaside Daisy) is a low-growing perennial forming a ravishing carpet of large lavender-blue flowers, 2 in. across (5 cm), adorned with yellow centers. Blooming for months from spring through fall, they almost cover the fresh foliage of blue-green leaves. The charming blossoms attract bees and butterflies. Great for planting near the sea. Perfect for rock gardens and crevices in paving. Evergreen in mild winter areas, Erigeron glaucus is deer resistant and tolerates drought, salt spray and wind.
