Bred for heat and humidity tolerance, Heuchera ‘Georgia Peach’ is a particularly interesting variety of Coral Bells with its bold foliage of lobed, rounded leaves, which change color throughout the seasons. In spring, large leaves, which can measure up to 8 in. across (20 cm), emerge a brilliant peach-orange with darker veins and a lovely silver-white overlay. As they mature, their coloring intensifies to rose tones in summer before further darkening to rose-purple and taking a decorative frosted veil in the fall.

  • In early-mid summer, panicles of small, bell-shaped, creamy white flowers bloom on slender stems rising up to 30 in. (75 cm) above the semi-evergreen foliage. This Heuchera is also prized by gardeners for its vigor and drought tolerance.
  • This clump-forming perennial forms basal mounds, up to 14 in. tall (35 cm) with a spread of 24 in. (60 cm). This sturdy performer is not only easy to grow, but also requires little maintenance and is virtually pest and disease free!
  • Performs best in part shade, in richhumusymedium moisturewell-drained soils. If grown in full sun, make sure the soil remains consistently moist or the foliage might decline. Thrives in dry shade, once established. It is attractive to butterflies and often ignored by deer.
  • A spectacular addition to bedsbordersrock gardenswoodland gardens and is ideal as groundcoveredger along paths or in containers. Fabulous when planted in groups!
  • Divide clumps in spring every 3-4 years.
  • Remove stems of faded flowers to promote additional bloom. Apply winter mulch after the ground freezes to help prevent root heaving.
