Heuchera ‘Pluie de Feu’ is a resilient, compact perennial that forms dense clumps. Its dark green foliage is adorned with attractive mottling and serrated edges. During the summer, tall upright stems rise above the foliage, bearing vibrant carmine red flowers. This variety of Heuchera is semi-evergreen and adds a touch of color and charm to garden beds and borders. It thrives in various conditions and is a great choice for adding year-round interest to your garden.

  • This clump-forming perennial forms a basal mound up to 16 in. tall (40 cm) with a 12 in. (30 cm) spread.
  • This sturdy performer is easy to grow and requires little maintenance.
  • Performs best in part shade in rich, humusy, medium moisture, well-drained soils. If grown in full sun, ensure the soil remains consistently moist, or the foliage might decline. Thrives in dry shade once established. It is attractive to butterflies and often ignored by deer.
  • A spectacular addition to beds, borders, and woodland gardens and is ideal in containers. Fabulous when planted in groups!
  • Divide clumps in spring every 3-4 years.
  • Propagate by division in late summer or early autumn.
  • May be susceptible to leaf and bud eelworm, vine weevil, and heuchera rust.
  • Remove stems of faded flowers to promote additional bloom. Apply winter mulch after the ground freezes to help prevent root heaving.
