Lily Triumphator, Oriental Lily Triumphator, Lilium 'Zanlophator', longiflorum Oriental Hybrid 'Pink Heaven'
Incredibly showy, Lilium Triumphator (Longiflorum Oriental Hybrid Lily) is a fascinating bulbous perennial with large, fragrant, outward-facing white trumpets, up to 8 in. across (20 cm), adorned with rich rose-red throats. Blooming in early to mid-summer, the striking flowers are adorned with a bouquet of prominent stamens, adding further appeal. The blossoms are borne on sturdy, erect stems bearing lance-shaped, spirally-arranged, glossy, dark green leaves. This Lily is an excellent border plant, providing striking color and contrast to the perennial border, and mixes beautifully with annuals and other summer flowering bulbs. It is well suited to containers and the cutting garden as it makes excellent fresh-cut flowers.
