Old Pheasant's Eye, Pheasant's Eye Daffodil, Poet's Daffodil, Narcissus Recurvus, Poet's Narcissus, Spring Bulbs, Spring Flowers
Strongly scented, award-winner Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus, commonly called ‘Pheasant’s Eye Daffodil’, displays brilliant pure white flowers with strongly recurved petals and small, red-rimmed, golden-yellow cups. Blooming in late spring, one flower per stem, the long-lasting blossoms rise atop a clump of narrow, strap-shaped leaves. Great in the sunny border, this daffodil performs better in wet, poorly drained areas than most daffodils. Plant in mass and enjoy its delightful fragrance waft through the air.
