Zonal Geranium 'Americana Red', Fancy Leaf Geranium 'Americana Red', Americana Series
Pelargonium ‘Americana Red’ (Zonal Geranium) is a bushy, evergreen, tender perennial with huge clusters of bright scarlet-red, semi-double flowers, up to 4-5 in. across (10-12 cm). Blooming continuously (if deadheaded), the luminous blossoms are reported to withstand wind, rain and heat better than most. They are nicely set off by the foliage mound of scalloped leaves, adorned with a decorative bronze ring at their tips. Robust, upright and well branched, this is an excellent Zonal Geranium for borders and containers.
