Rosa Oso Easy Petit Pink (Groundcover Rose)

Rose Oso Easy Petit Pink, Rosa 'ZLEMarianneYoshida', USPP 22,205, CBR 4448, Oso Easy® Rose, Shrub Roses, Groundcover Roses

Self cleaning and exceptionally disease resistant, Rosa Oso Petit Pink is a very refined shrub rose boasting a profusion of petite, bubble gum pink flowers. The blossoms stand out against the healthy, glossy dark green foliage. Blooming continuously from summer to frost, the showy flowers entice passing butterflies to use them as perfect landing pads. Floriferous, easy to grow, low maintenance, cold-hardy, this shrub rose brings cheerful color to the garden or landscape. Perfect for mixed borders and beds or as a flowering groundcover.

  • 2012 Miniature/Miniflora Rose Award of Excellence American Rose Society, American Rose Trials for Sustainability (A.R.T.S.) Master Rose Award.
  • Grows up to 18-30 in. tall (45-75 cm) and 30-42 in. wide (75-105 cm).
  • Best grown in full sun in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. For best flowering apply a balanced fertilizer and mulch in late winter or early spring and a balanced fertilizer again in early summer. Salt tolerant.
  • An excellent choice for beds and borders, city gardens, coastal gardens, cottage gardens or as a colorful groundcover.
  • Keep an eye out for aphids, rose leafhopper, scale insects, caterpillars, large rose sawfly, rose leaf-rolling sawfly, black spot, rose rust and rose powdery mildew.
  • Pruning is generally not needed, but this shrub may be shaped in spring. It does not need spraying.
  • Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer.
