Coast Rosemary, Westringia fruticosa 'WES05', Westringia villosa Mundi, Westringia villosa 'WES05', Westringia rosmariniformis 'Wes05'
Very showy when in bloom, Westringia fruticosa Mundi (Coast Rosemary) is a low-growing, spreading evergreen shrub with long narrow dark gray-green leaves, up to 1 in. long (2.5 cm). A profusion of small white flowers are produced in spring (year-round in coastal areas). Attractive to butterflies and bees, they are so abundant that they literally cover the shrub. Tough and low maintenance, this prostrate shrub makes a great groundcover and is perfect for waterwise gardens. Salt tolerant, it is well suited to coastal landscapes.
