Mexican Orange 'Aztec Pearl'
Award-winning Choisya x dewitteana 'Aztec Pearl' (Mexican Orange) is a small evergreen shrub of open rounded habit with aromatic, glossy, bright green leaves composed of 3 narrow leaflets. A profusion of sweet-smelling, star-shaped, pink flushed to white flowers, 1 in. across (2.5 cm), held in small clusters, bloom in late spring to early summer and again in the fall. Rich in nectar, they are greatly appreciated by bees and butterflies. Both flowers and leaves have the divine fragrance of orange blossoms. This shrub is usually grown as a hedge or as a specimen plant or foundation plant.
