Fuchsia ‘Rose Fantasia’

A lovely addition to the summer garden, award-winner Fuchsia ‘Rose Fantasia’ is an upright, bushy deciduous shrub with a profusion of medium-sized, upward-facing flowers adorned with deep pink sepals and pale corollas with a hint of mauve. Blooming from early summer until frost, they stand out against the foliage of mid-green leaves and sparkle in the sun. Very free-flowering, this flowering shrub makes an excellent border plant in summer, is perfect as a specimen plant pot and can be grown as a superb standard. Attractive to bees and hummingbirds.

• Grows up to 24 in. tall and wide (60 cm).
• A full sun to part shade lover, this plant is best grown in moist, fertile, well-drained soils. Provide a deep winter mulch and shelter from cold drying winds.
• Perfect for containers.
• In early to mid-spring cut back the previous year’s flowering stems to within one or two buds of the older woody framework. Also remove any thin, weak or dead growth. This stimulates development of strong new growth on which flowers will be produced in late summer.
• Propagate by softwood or semi-hardwood cuttings
• Watch for rust, capsid bug and caterpillars.
