Award-winning Narcissus ‘Ice Wings’ literally glows in the mid-spring garden with its gracefully nodding, ivory white flowers. Up to 2-3 per stem, they feature slightly reflexed petals with long conical cups. Long-lived, this superb Triandrus Daffodil is excellent for growing in borders or grass.

  • Grows up to 10-12 in. tall (25-30 cm).
  • Recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society for outstanding garden merit
  • Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun or part shade. Keep the soil moist during the growing season, but reduce watering after foliage begins to die back. More tolerant of shade and heavy, damp soil than other daffodils.
  • A welcomed addition to beds, borders, containers, rock gardens, around shrubs, under deciduous trees, or in naturalized areas. Provides spectacular drifts of color when planted en masse or mixed with any other flowering bulbs. For best visual impact, plant in groups (at least 6 bulbs).
  • Deer and rabbit resistant!
  • To be planted in fall
  • Propagate by removing offsets as the leaves fade in early summer
  • Ingestion may cause severe discomfort. Can also be a skin irritant.
  • Toxic to dogs, toxic to cats, toxic to horses.
  • Triandrus Narcissus group produces up to 2-3 small to medium-sized flowers per stem in mid to late spring. Their distinguishing feature is that the perianth petals flare back and away from the bell-shaped cup so that the cup is more conspicuous. The delicate-looking flowers, white or yellow, are always angled downward. Usually strongly fragrant, these low-growing little daffodils have a definite preference for somewhat damp habitats. They are also frequently used in rock gardens.
