Noted for it striking variegated foliage, Tulip 'Fire of Love' is very eye-catching with its bright red flowers held above beautifully striped leaves. Adorned with purple dots, the elegantly curled, blue-green leaves are outlined in creamy-yellow. The flowers, large in proportion to the plant's total height, up to 4 in. wide (10 cm), open wide in the full sun. Belonging to the Greigii Tulip Group, 'Fire of Love' will reliably bring sparkles in the mid to late spring garden and will continue to provide interest after bloom thanks to its attractive foliage!
- Growing only 6-8 inches tall (15-20 cm), this tulip naturalizes easily and will come back year after year to our delight! It creates dazzling harmonies with other early flowering bulbs.
- Performs best in full sun in rich, fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Prefers areas with cool winters and warm, dry summers.
- Easy to grow, this tulip is a welcomed addition to beds, borders, containers, rock gardens or for naturalizing in grass. For best visual impact, plant in groups (at least 10 to 15 bulbs) or mixed with any other flowering bulbs.
