Providing long-lasting color in the garden, Geranium Havana Blues is a low, spreading herbaceous perennial with very large, saucer-shaped, lavender-blue flowers, 2.5 in. across (6 cm), adorned with prominent dark blue veins and a white central zone. The trailing stems are equally attractive, with their 5-lobed leaves marbled in light yellow when young. Blooming continuously from early summer until the first frosts, Geranium Havana Blues is a very attractive variety of Cranesbill that requires minimal care to glow in the garden.

  • Grows up to 12-14 in. tall (30-35 cm) and 16-18 in. wide (40-45 cm).
  • Performs best in full sun or part shade in well-drained soils.
  • A perfect addition to beds and borders, cottage gardens. Great for underplanting roses and shrubs or as a ground cover.
  • Attractive to butterflies but deer resistant.
  • Remove flowered stems and old leaves to encourage the production of fresh leaves and flowers.
  • May be affected by vine weevil, capsid bug, sawflies, downy mildew, and powdery mildews.
  • Propagate by seed sown in pots outdoors as soon as ripe or in spring. Propagate by division in spring or propagate by basal cuttings in early to mid-spring and root with bottom heat
