Floriferous, Narcissus bulbocodium 'Golden Bells' (Hoop Petticoat Daffodil) is a charming, dwarf, bulbous perennial boasting upward-facing, bell-shaped, rich golden-yellow flowers adorned with very short, star-like petals. Blooming in early to mid-spring, they rise atop narrow, bright green leaves. Each bulb sends up 5 to 15 vibrant blossoms. Perfect for naturalizing and weather resistant, this vigorous grower stands out anywhere thanks to its bright color.

  • Grows up to 6-8 in. (15-20 cm), Hoop Petticoat Daffodil naturalizes well and comes back year after year.
  • Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun or part shade. Keep the soil moist during the growing season, but reduce watering after foliage begins to die back. Prefers acid soils which retain plenty of moisture in the spring growing season and a sunny spot.
  • This Daffodil is a welcomed addition to beds, borders, containers, rock gardens, or naturalized areas. Provides spectacular drifts of color when planted en masse. For best visual impact, plant in groups (at least 6 bulbs).
  • Deer and rabbit resistant!
  • Propagate by removing offsets as the leaves fade in early summer
  • Ingestion may cause severe discomfort. Can also be a skin irritant.
  • Toxic to dogs, toxic to cats, toxic to horses.
