Pinus strobus 'Contorta' (Eastern White Pine) is an upright, evergreen conifer of loose-pyramidal habit with a twisted trunk and gracefully twisted branches, branchlets, and fluffy, light green needles.

  • Grows up to 15-40 ft. tall (4-16 m) and 10-30 ft. wide (3-9m).
  • Performs best in full sun in preferably neutral to acidic, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Prefers fertile soils and cool, humid climates.
  • Easy to grow, easy to care for, and rarely browsed by deer.
  • No pruning is required.
