Grape Vine 'Purpurea', Teinturier Grape, Purple-Leaf Grape Vine
Cold-hardy and highly decorative, award-winning Vitis vinifera 'Purpurea' is a vigorous deciduous climbing vine noted for its remarkable foliage. Emerging green in the spring, the deeply-lobed leaves are delicately flushed with burgundy. Fragrant, insignificant greenish-white flowers appear in early summer, followed by lovely clusters of tiny, edible grapes that are sweet inside but have bitter skins.
