Vitis vinifera 'Purpurea' (Grape Vine)

Grape Vine 'Purpurea', Teinturier Grape, Purple-Leaf Grape Vine

Emerging green in the spring, the deeply-lobed leaves are delicately flushed with burgundy. Fragrant, insignificant greenish-white flowers appear in early summer, followed by lovely clusters of tiny, edible grapes that are sweet inside but have bitter skins.
