Free-flowering and particularly beautiful, award-winning Rosa ‘Adelaide d’Orleans is a vigorous rambler rose with dainty sprays of small, semi-double flowers (over 40 petals), pale pink in buds, opening to creamy-white. Hanging elegantly on delicate stems, the slightly but sweetly scented clusters are produced in abundance on pliable stems that are clothed in dark green leaves. Disease resistant, the healthy foliage is almost evergreen. This rambling rose is shade tolerant, ideal for pergolas, arches, arbors, walls, and fences, and suitable for growing into trees.

  • Winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society
  • Blooms overwhelmingly once in late spring or early summer.
  • Grows up to 14-15 ft. tall (420-450 cm) and 10-12 ft. wide (300-360 cm).
  • Best grown in full sun in rich, fertile, moist, well-drained soils. Tolerates some shade and poor soils. Apply a balanced fertilizer and mulch in late winter or early spring for best flowering.
  • Very disease resistant.
  • Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer
  • Bred by Jacques in 1826.
