Noted for its silver foliage, Caryopteris x clandonensis ‘Lissilv’ or ‘Sterling Silver’ is a compact, bushy deciduous shrub of upright habit with an abundance of intense violet-blue flowers in late summer to fall. Borne atop woody stems clothed with silvery-green aromatic leaves, they are attractive to butterflies, bees and other beneficial insects. They stand out against the striking foliage that glistens in the sun throughout the summer. Valued for its late season blossoms when few other shrubs are in bloom, this easy care shrub is a superb addition to any sunny garden. Perfect for small gardens or containers.
