Ilex Golden Oakland® (Holly) is a showy, pyramidal evergreen holly with a shiny foliage of oak-shaped, golden variegated leaves, which holds all year. Beautifully shaped, this variegated holly requires very little care and adds year-round interest. It is perfect for formal gardens and provides an elegant, vertical accent in the landscape. It can be used as a privacy hedge, a brilliant accent or in decorative containers.

  • Grows up to 15-20 ft. tall (450-600 cm) and 12-15 ft. wide (360-450 cm).
  • A full sun to part shade lover, this plant is easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Fertilize in spring.
  • Perfect as a specimen plant, foundation plantings, hedges or screens or for containers.
  • If pruning is necessary, shear in early spring.
