Pinus strobus 'Nana' (Eastern White Pine) is a dwarf evergreen coniferous shrub of dense, compact, irregularly branched, dome-shaped habit, adorned with soft, silvery blue-green needles. A slow grower, 2-5 in. per year (5-12 cm), this dwarf White Pine makes a terrific specimen plant.

  • Grows up to 2-3 ft. tall and wide (60-90 cm) after 10 year. Has the potential to be larger than its name implies, up to 4-7 ft. tall (120-210 cm) and 6-10 ft. wide (180-300 cm) at maturity.
  • Performs best in full sun in medium moisture, well-drained soils. Tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions.
  • Easy to grow, easy to care for and rarely browsed by deer.
  • No pruning required.
  • Native to Eastern North America.
