Quite cold-hardy, Begonia ‘Garden Angel Blush’ is an upright, mounding, evergreen perennial noted for its eye-catching foliage and strong garden performance. It produces attractive pewter-silver palmate leaves that resemble those of Japanese maples. They are adorned with a warm violet blush and coal-black veins. In late summer, clusters of small single pink flowers are held above the leaves. But the primary contribution of this hardy Begonia is the beauty of its rich foliage. Fast-growing, it makes a valuable contribution to shady landscapes or containers.

  • Grows up to 24 in. tall (60 cm) and 18 in. across (45 cm).
  • Prefers part to full shade and fertile, rich, moist, and well-drained soils. Provide good air circulation. Applying winter mulch will increase survivability in borderline areas.
  • Cover the foliage with a deep mulch once the frost has hit the leaves.
  • The eye-catching foliage mixes well with hostas, ferns, and other shade perennials.
  • Toxic to dogs, toxic to cats, toxic to horses.
