Incredibly eye-catching, award-winner Helianthus annuus ‘Soraya’ (Common Sunflower) is a vigorous, well-branched annual with oblong to lanceolate leaves and particularly beautiful flowers. In summer, it produces a profusion of large blossoms, up to 6 in. across (15 cm), with bright golden-orange petals surrounding chocolate brown centers. The flower heads are attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. Easy to grow and sensational at the back of a sunny border, this exquisite Sunflower makes outstanding cut flowers too. ‘Soraya’ is self-supporting and does not need staking.
