Chinese Fringe Flower Crimson Fire™, Crimson Fire Chinese Fringe Flower, Loropetalum chinense var. rubrum 'PIILC-I' PP25534
Prized by gardeners for its sharp color contrast with other ornamental plants, Loropetalum chinense var. rubrum Crimson Fire™ (Chinese Fringe Flower) is a dwarf bushy evergreen shrub of neat, compact habit with rich ruby-red leaves which retain their color and persist all year-round. In spring, it produces abundant clusters of bright neon-pink, spidery flowers, each with narrow, twisted, inch-long petals. The vibrant blossoms stand out against the dark evergreen foliage. Deer resistant with an excellent cold tolerance, this striking evergreen shrub is perfect as an accent or in mass plantings. It makes a lovely hedge along the entryway and looks great in perennial borders or in containers.
