Coreopsis 'Ruby Frost' (Tickseed)

Tickseed 'Ruby Frost', 'Ruby Frost' Tickseed

Elegantly holding up its large, rich ruby flowers delicately fringed with a frosty white collar, Coreopsis 'Ruby Frost' produces masses of vibrant blooms from early summer to fall, creating a stunning outdoor display for weeks. Butterflies love it but deer don't!

  • Easy to grow, relatively pest and disease free, this eye-catching plant is also a little toughy, which can overcome drought!
  • Forms an attractive, compact and airy mound with an airiness derived from the long stems, which sway gently in the breeze. It typically reaches up to 26" in height (65cm) and 32" across (80 cm).
  • Prefers sunny locations and enjoys average, well-drained soils.
  • Very versatile, it is a welcomed addition to beds, borders, cottage gardens and does great in containers. Effective as an accent plant and spectacular in mass plantings.
  • Midsummer shearing (after the first flush of flowers) will keep this plant looking its best all season.
