Cranesbill 'Ballerina', Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina', Geranium 'Ballerina', Hardy Geraniums

Noted for its long flowering season, award-winning Geranium (Cinereum Group) 'Ballerina' (Cranesbill) is an herbaceous perennial which produces a profusion of slightly cupped, pale pink flowers, adorned with deep purple veins and a dark blotch at the base of each petal. The dainty blossoms rise atop a low-growing mound of rounded, deeply lobed, gray green leaves. This Cranesbill is a perfect addition to rock gardens, borders or containers.

  • Recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society

  • Grows up to 6 in. tall (15 cm) and spreads up to 12-18 in. (30-45 cm).
  • Performs best in full sun or part shade, in well-drained soils. This Geranium is not fussy about soils provided they are well-drained. Sensitive to summer heat and humidity.
  • Attractive to butterflies, but deer and rabbit resistant!

  • Watch for vine weevil, sawflies, powdery mildew or downy mildew
