Arrowwood Viburnum Blue Muffin®, American Arrow Wood Blue Muffin®, Arrow Wood Blue Muffin®, Southern Arrow Wood Blue Muffin®, Viburnum dentatum 'Christom'
Viburnum dentatum Blue Muffin® (Arrowwood Viburnum) is a compact, upright, deciduous shrub of rounded habit with shiny green leaves that turn shades of purple-red and gold in fall. In early to mid-summer, the plant is smothered with a profusion of creamy-white flowers, followed by remarkably intense azure-blue berries in late summer and fall. Persisting well into winter, they add interest to the late-season landscape and attract songbirds to the garden. A wonderful shrub with a long season of interest that is perfect for foundation plantings, hedges, and small gardens. Blue Muffin requires another viburnum for pollination before its flowers produce fruit.
