Attractive to bees and butterflies, easy care, drought and heat tolerant, deer and rabbit resistant, this eye-catching yarrow is perfect for hot, dry, and sunny borders, outstanding in containers, and excellent for cutting.

  • Propagate by division in spring.
  • Achillea millefolium species is native to Europe, Western Asia, and North America.
  • Toxic to dogs, toxic to cats, toxic to horses.

Achillea, commonly known as Yarrow, belongs to the Asteraceae family, which also includes asters, chrysanthemums, and sunflowers. The genus was named after Achilles, the hero of the Trojan Wars in Greek mythology, who used the plant to stop the bleeding and heal the wounds of his soldiers.
