Tickseed 'Starlight', 'Starlight' Tickseed, Li'l Bang Series
Reliable and eye-catching, Coreopsis ‘Starlight’ is a dwarf perennial forming a compact mound of mid-green foliage that remains fresh-looking all season. Blooming profusely from early summer through fall, it is covered with large, white blossoms adorned with a burgundy star-shaped eye. The cooler the temperature, the larger the burgundy eye. Perfect to create a stunning floral display in the garden. Requiring no deadheading, this Tickseed has great disease resistance. Its compact size makes it perfect for beds, borders, containers, and small gardens.
Coreopsis are a favorite of many gardeners thanks to the bright colors of their flowers and their ability to put up with most garden soils. There are over 100 species available and countless hybrids. Most of them are low maintenance, drought tolerant, and enjoy long blooming seasons. Workhorse perennials in the sunny borders, they make excellent cut flowers.
