Pink 'Rosy Cheeks', Rosy Cheeks Pink, Devon Cottage Series, Dianthus 'Valda Louise'
Very compact and free flowering, Dianthus ‘Rosy Cheeks’ (Pink) is a charming evergreen perennial with masses of strongly scented, ruffled, double, rosy-pink flowers, up to 2 in. across (5 cm). Blooming from late spring to mid-summer (or later with regular deadheading), the large blossoms rise on non-flopping stems above a low mound of grassy, silver-blue leaves. Easy to grow, and perfect for adding a splash of color in the garden, this Garden Pink is an excellent addition to the sunny border, rock garden or containers. Splendid as cut flowers too!
‘Rosy Cheeks’ belongs to the Devon Cottage Series of Garden Pinks from Whetman Pinks, which are noted for their large flower size, compact habit, silver-blue foliage, and lengthy blooming periods.
