Exceptionally healthy, award-winner David Austin Rose Molineux features abundant, incredibly beautiful, fully double blooms of a rich canary yellow color throughout the season. Each bloom is packed with many petals (120 petals) and opens gradually from rounded buds to exquisite, rosette-shaped flowers with a very pleasant scent of Tea Rose. Molineux is an excellent garden rose.

  • Won the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society as well as the Gold Medal of the President’s Trophy for the ‘Best New Rose of the Year’ and the Henry Edland Medal for the ‘Best Scented Rose’, at the Royal National Rose Society Trials.
  • Very free flowering and reliable, this rose blooms in flushes from late spring until frost and is an excellent repeat bloomer.
  • Vigorously growing in an upright compact bushy shrub, 3ft tall (90 cm) and 2 ft across (60 cm), it makes a good flowering hedge and is an excellent choice for beds and borders or even containers. Spectacular when combined with the cool blue colors of salvia, nepeta, or lavender. Plant it where you will be able to enjoy its perfume daily: near a doorway, along a path, near your patio or deck. Excellent cut flowers.
  • Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils.
  • The foliage of this English Rose is excellent and disease resistant.
  • Introduced in 1994, this rose has been named after David Austin’s favorite soccer team.

  • David Austin Roses combine the flower forms and perfume of Old Roses with the color range and repeat-flowering habits of modern roses. As a Rose breeder, David Austin’s achievement is in marrying the romantic “English Rose” look with reliable garden performance, vigorous growth, full bushes, disease resistance, and prolific season-long bloom. Over 200 English Roses have been released since 1961, many of them receiving the highest rewards.

Learn How To Plant And Care for Your English Roses

Most people think of roses as finicky creatures, and many are. English Garden Roses, on the other hand, have the lush flowers and pleasing fragrance people love about roses, amply supplied on vigorous, lush, disease-resistant bushes that flower all season long.
