Rose The Lark Ascending, Rosa 'Ausursula', Shrub Roses, David Austin Roses
A delightfully different English Rose, The Lark Ascending (Ausursula) features gently cupped, medium-sized, semi-double flowers of just 22 petals in a heavenly warm apricot shade, splashed with gold at the centers. On the bush, the roses are produced from the ground upwards in flower heads of up to 15 nicely spaced blooms, creating an impressive effect. Their light fragrance varies with age, from Tea through to Myrrh, and they always make an excellent addition to the vase. Introduced by David Austin in 2012, The Lark Ascending is an excellent rose shrub of exceptional health and vigor that rarely succumbs to diseases.
