Agastache rugosa 'Golden Jubilee' (Korean Mint)

Korean Mint 'Golden Jubilee', Agastache foeniculum 'Golden Jubilee', Agastache rugosa 'Golden Anniversary'

Luminous, Agastache rugosa Golden Jubilee' (Korean Mint) is an upright, clump-forming perennial with attractive spikes of fragrant, tubular, lavender-blue flowers from midsummer to early fall. Adding lovely vertical lines to the landscape, they are held over the golden-green foliage of aromatic, lance-shaped leaves. Its long flowering season, showy flower spikes, licorice-scented foliage, low maintenance and deer resistance explain its great popularity among gardeners. And it is not only pleasing to people. Bees, birds and butterflies adore it too. Ideal to add color in the late season garden when many other plants are fading.

  • Grows up to 2-3 ft. tall (60-90 cm) and 18-24 in. wide (45-60 cm).
  • Best grown in full sun to part shade, in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils. Tolerates almost any soils, including dry, poor soils. Drought tolerant once established.
  • Provides a bold and striking impact in beds and borders, cottage gardens, butterfly gardens or in prairie plantings. Ideal for naturalistic planting schemes. Great as cut flowers too!
  • Generally disease and pest free (might occasionally be subject to powdery mildew) and resistant to deer.
  • Deadhead spent flowers to promote additional bloom.
  • Propagate by seed or by division in spring.
