Pink 'Pinball Wizard', Pinball Wizard Pink, Devon Cottage Series, Dianthus 'WP15 MOW08'
Very compact and free flowering, Dianthus ‘Pinball Wizard’ (Pink) is a charming evergreen perennial with masses of strongly scented, fully double, soft pink flowers, up to 2 in. across (5 cm), adorned with dark pink flecks and stripes. Blooming from mid-spring through early fall (with regular deadheading), the large blossoms rise on non-flopping stems above a low mound of grassy, silver-blue leaves. Easy to grow, and perfect for adding a splash of color in the garden, this Garden Pink is an excellent addition to the sunny border, rock garden, or containers. Splendid as cut flowers too!
‘Pinball Wizard’ belongs to the Devon Cottage Series of Garden Pinks from Whetman Pinks, which are noted for their large flower size, compact habit, silver-blue foliage, and lengthy blooming periods.
