Double Jewel' Geranium, Meadow Cranesbill 'Double Jewel', Cranesbill 'Double Jewel', Hardy Geranium 'Double Jewel'

Hardy, versatile, with charming double blossoms, Geranium pratense 'Double Jewel' is highly desirable. It forms dense, spreading mounds of deeply-lobed, dark green leaves, topped with abundant and very attractive, double, white star-shaped blossoms with purple-pink hearts from late spring to midsummer. Short and compact, let it spill over the edges and rock walls, and you will get an envious wow from your neighbors!

  • Clump-forming and vigorous, this deciduous perennial reaches 12-18 in. in height (30-45 cm) and spreads 18-24 in. wide (45-60 cm). This sturdy performer is not only easy to grow, but it also requires very little maintenance and is pest and disease free!
  • Performs best in full sun or part shade, in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Prefers moist, organic soils. Drought tolerant, once established, it is attractive to butterflies, but deer and rabbit resistant.
  • A perfect border plant, it is a spectacular addition to beds, borders, cottage gardens, underplanting roses, and shrubs or containers and is an excellent choice as a groundcover or edging plant.
